Secret handbook of a shock techniques, to induce a childlike state onto prisoners.
CIA’s interrogation techniques (1963 and 1983)
. Sleep deprivation
. Stress position
. Sensory isolation
. Simulated drowning
. Pain up
These techniques induced a regression in personnality, and the source becomes more open to suggestions, more likely to collaborate before he received the shock.
These techniques do not only work on individuals, they can work on whole societies: a collective trauma, a war, a coup d’état, a natural disaster, a terrorist attack put us all in a state of shock.
We too, like prisoners become child inclined to follow leaders, that will protect us.
One person understood that very well, the most famous economist of our era Milton Friedman (nobel Price in Economic Science 1976)
Profit and market rule every aspect of our lives. > Schools, Healthcare even the army.

“ONLY A CRISIS, ACTUAL OR PERCEIVED PRODUCES REAL CHANGE”– Milton Friedman
Isolation, physical and psychological must be maintained from the moment of apprehension.
The capacity of resistance is diminished by desorientation.
Prisoners should maintain silence at all times. They should never be allowed to speak to each other.
There’s one other thing I learned from my studies of States of shock.
Shock wears off.
It is by definition a temporary state, and the best way to stay oriented, to resist the shock is to know what is happening to you, and why.
